Prue and Ben’s Broome wedding was every bit of awesome. It had all the things I love about a wedding – loads of laughter, champagne flowing, confetti throwing, family and friends kicking off their shoes and a couple that were totally relaxed and loved up.
The day started at Cable Beach Club, where Prue got ready with her mum, dad and sister by her side.
The ceremony was held at Riddell Beach, with its glistering blue sea, white sand and red pindan cliffs. Not long before the wedding Broome experienced unseasonal rain which, due to flooding, closed the dirt road that led to the ceremony location. Luckily it was reopened just before the big day.
All eyes were on Prue when her dad walked her down that sandy track to the beach. She looked absolutely stunning in her pearl sequinned dress, complimented by an Australian native bouquet, beautifully created by the talented folk at Broome Florist. The reception was held on the Okari Deck at Cable Beach Club, where the the guest were treated to a classic Cable Beach sunset.
What a perfect day filled with love and laughter. It was such a pleasure to be able to photograph it.
