Shaina and PJ knew that a big wedding wasn’t the thing for them and that a Broome elopement wedding would be the perfect fit!
They are a gorgeous, genuine couple who love living life wholeheartedly, embrace adventure and value the experiences that life and exploring the world provides. Choosing to elope in Broome on a secluded beach perfectly encapsulated them and what they wanted for their wedding day. Originally from America, this sweet pair had been calling Sydney home for the last two years. Moving to Australia was a leap of faith for their relationship, so when work commitments beckoned them back to the States, it felt right for them to take another lovely leap of faith just before they left, this time into married life.
The decision was made to say their ‘I do’s’ in the Kimberley. Neither of them had ever been to Broome before, so they relied on the vision and guidance of their wonderful celebrant Kelly Morrow and myself to bring their wedding day to life.
After a morning spent together at their AirBnB, the couple did a first look at the gorgeous Cable Beach Club Resort and then headed to Reddell Beach, where celebrant Kelly and a friend of the couple were waiting. Tears, laughs, rings and words of love were exchanged in an intimate and heartfelt ceremony, with nature providing the perfect backdrop. Once the champagne was popped and paperwork signed, we headed off to Gantheaume Point for sunset photos.
By the time I dropped Shaina and PJ off at their accommodation, my cheeks were sore from smiling so much. It was an absolutely amazing day and I was so so happy to have been a part of their Broome elopement wedding.
