This Broome beach wedding ticked all the boxes. From a beautiful and intimate ceremony on Reddell Beach to the old mustard brown troop carrier used as the wedding vehicle, I loved everything about it. When the couple stated to me in the lead up to their wedding that the most important thing for them was that I’d capture the people around them rather than the material things like the dress, flowers, cake etc. I knew they were my kind of humans.
Steph and Matt met through their local yacht club in East Fremantle when they were kids but sparks didn’t fly until quite a few years later. In 2016, after a day of swimming in the ocean and catching fish at Manari, north of Broome, Matt proposed to Steph on top of the red cliffs. Even though the couple is predominantly based in Perth their shared love of the Kimberley made Broome an easy choice as the perfect location for their barefoot nuptials.
