I am Julia, a West Australian photographer who’s been lucky enough to capture many beautiful weddings, elopements and families across Broome and the South West for over a decade now.

I like being in nature, hiking and exploring new places, dogs, playing table tennis with my husband Gerard and I also enjoy taking creative, natural and non-awkward photos of people.

HUNT FAMILY

Julia is the loveliest person – so warm and relaxed, she makes the entire photoshoot experience fun and effortless. We wanted some family photos while on our holiday in Broome, and booking Julia was the best decision we made. She was amazing with our kids, keeping them entertained and smiling the whole time. The final photos completely exceeded our expectations – we absolutely love every single one of them, and it’s by far the best photoshoot we’ve ever had.

This is the second time my family has booked Julia to capture some special moments, this time having all 14 of us for a session! She did an amazing job at keeping six young kids entertained and engaged and captured everyone’s personalities so well. Once you’ve decided we’re the perfect fit, securing your date is easy.  I’ll send you a link to your booking page that will include your contract and initial invoice for the 25% booking fee. After the contract is signed and the booking fee paid, your date is officially locked in.

I tend to book dates 6-12 months in advance. Certain months book quicker than others so as soon as you have a date in mind send me an enquiry.

Absolutely! There are certain factors I consider when planning your wedding timeline. One being, when the sun will be setting, which will dictate how much available day light we have. Another factor I consider is what’s most important for you both as a couple. We can discuss these details during our initial Zoom call.

Your photographs will be individually edited and presented to you via a password protected online gallery.

Your will receive your wedding gallery within 4 weeks. Turn around for family photos is around 7-10 days.
