THE VENUE: “It was always going to be Broome. The place we both grew up, the place we met, the place we love. In terms of the venue, 7 years ago, when we started A Plus Events, David and I did a delivery to the Billi Resort in Broome. It was our first time at the resort and we were in awe of the beauty.

The gardens, in our opinion, are the best in Broome with the stunning timber walkways weaving their way through the resort with an inviting pool in the centre, surrounded by greenery. It was tranquil and private. I looked at David and said “whenever we get married, I want to get married here” It was always the dream. The fact all our friends and family could stay at the resort for the weekend, that we could have both our ceremony and reception at the same location and that the venue offers the incredible support of Lauren, the onsite wedding coordinator, were all unbelievable benefits of hiring the Billi Resort as our wedding venue. It was a dream come true.”
