My love of photographing people is what got me into wedding photography. Having been shooting weddings across the Kimberley for over 5 years I have had the absolute pleasure to be working with many amazing wedding vendors. To make things a little easier for you during the planning process I’ve put together a list of all my favourites.
BROOME ELOPEMENT GUIDE
What is an elopement?
An elopement is an intimate wedding that keeps the focus on you as a couple, and your commitment to each other, rather than following the traditions of a big wedding.
Some couples elope without any guests at all. Others include their very closest friends or family for a micro-wedding. Many choose a combination, by eloping alone first, then throwing a big party for everyone to celebrate at a later date.
The best part of eloping?
There are no rules here!
You get to decide every little part of your day, whether you want to ride a camel together, drink your favourite microbrews instead of fancy champagne, fly to a remote location in a helicopter to say your vows, or do your first dance on the beach to Taylor Swift playing off a bluetooth speaker.
Sounds great, right?
If the thought of planning a big wedding fills you with dread, you can't stand the thought of reading your private vows in front of a hundred people or you don't want to go into debt over a party, a Broome elopement might be just the thing for you.
Now read on to see how you can make this happen!
Broome in the Kimberley region of Western Australia is the perfect place to elope for down to earth couples who want an adventure. With stunning beaches, the red earth and breathtaking views in every direction, it's hard to go wrong with an elopement in this beautiful part of the world.
There are countless beautiful locations to get married in and around Broome and the Dampier Peninsula. Some locations require a permit from the local Shire or Traditional Owners, while others are completely open for you to go and exchange vows whereever you feel like it.
I help plan and photograph epic elopements and small weddings across the Kimberley for couples who want to choose their own adventure, have the best day ever, and create memories for life.
From sharing with you my location ideas to connecting you with other vendors across the Kimberley that will make your entire day an amazing experience - I help you have the most unforgettable day possible and I document it so you can share and remember your incredible experience for years to come.
